Send a message to the person who requested a photo of the grave monument of Alice Brewster with the following comment:
Greetings, I am a descendant of the Brewster family that migrated to Canada in the late 19th century. I have recently become interested in my family history and am pulling together documentation to back up my research. My family has quite a few letters written back and forth between the Brewster cousins that remained in England and my ancestors that settled in Canada, and the name of Rev. James George Brewster comes up repeatedly. It seems to me that he was particularly interested in the family history, along with my great-great-great grandfather, Rev. Waldegrave Brewster, his cousin. The more I learn about these people, the more of a connection I feel I have with them, and I find increasingly that I would like to see something physical in connection to them. I have been searching for all types of documentation, including land titles and gravestone photos, for some time now. I realize that you most likely have a collection of Brewster gravestone photos from across eastern England, and rather than send a request for each one, I was hoping I could request all Brewster gravestone photos you have from specific graveyards. I am particularly interested in the following, if you would be so kind:- St. Nicholas's Cemetery, Wrentham- St. Mary's Cemetery, Stratford St. Mary- Municipal Cemetery, WrenthamIf you require specific names, I would be glad to find each one and request them. I do not have much to offer in exchange for your assistance; I do, however, have photos of the gravestones of my ancestors in Canada extending back to Bernard Brewster, my great-great grandfather. Most of them are in a family plot in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, but I do have photos of some in the surrounding area that were related to me as well. Please let me know if you would be interested in these and I can send them to you along with any information you may be interested in. For cousins that may be interested, I have digitized copies of letters between our families, and several old photographs as well. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer; I'm looking forward to seeing what you have in your files!Sincerely,Arlin W. Brewster
